not.a.t.Work

Plaster costumes designed for not.a.t.Work art collective opening night performance in collaboration with Kyle Dietrich (Fresco Plaster), Lloyd Knight (principal, Martha Graham Dance Company), Chuan Xie (Broadway The King and I, Martha Graham Dance Company) and Lauren Newman (Martha Graham Dance Company).  The dancers' costumes shed their outer layer as they move, revealing UV- sensitive layers beneath; as the piece progresses their costumes glow more and more under hand-held black lights. This collaboration led us to create SHED, which received the Queens Council on the Arts inaugural artist commissioning program grant in 2018.
